Resistant Starch Potato Salad
How Resistant Starch- RS can improve your gut health and more!! Resistant starch resists digestion so it passes through the small intestine without being digested. This feeds healthy gut bacteria, leading to a longer feeling of fullness and more efficient fat oxidation. In fact, one study found that" REPLACING JUST 5% OF THE DAY’S CARBOHYDRATES WITH A SOURCE OF RESISTANT STARCH CAN BOOST POST-MEAL FAT BURN BY UP TO 30%"! If that wasn’t impressive enough, studies also suggest that resistant starch can boost immunity, improve blood sugar control and lower cancer risk.
